When I was being a back home baller over Thanksgiving break, I discovered the best-smelling makeup remover. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Doesn’t all makeup remover smell like acetone?” Well, no, not this kind. Let me explain.
It all started when I was going through my mom’s stuff (as all back home ballers do). I discovered her stash of Aveeno Active Naturals Makeup Removing Wipes ($6.49) and decided I would use them instead of the makeup remover I bought myself #savedatmoney.
So, the time came for me to remove my eyeliner and that’s when the most amazing scent ever infiltrated my nostrils. “This can’t possibly be coming from the wipe that’s five inches from my nose, right?” Wrong. It was. It’s hard to put into words exactly what this smell is, but it’s the opposite of every other makeup remover I’ve tried: Neutrogena, Yes to Carrots, L’Oreal, the list goes on and on. Let’s just say it has a fresh, apple-y smell, which might sound kind of strange to some of you, but it beats the smell of chemicals on your face, amirite?
