The Difference Between Dragging Through Your Day And Feeling Great On Your Feet? These Arch Support Insoles

Just like everything else in life, makeup is constantly evolving. With progress comes new terminology, and we are here to help fill in the blanks for what ‘s what in the beauty world. This is especially important when celebrities like Kim Kardashian are doing this trick because look at her.

So today we’re going to define: Baking.

Cosmo defines baking as, “Letting translucent powder sit on your face for five to 10 minutes, which allows the heat from your face to set your base foundation and concealer, and then dusting it off your face, leaving you with a creaseless, flawless finish.” It’s important to note that baking is the equivalent to a smokey eye. Kim’s frequent makeup artistMario Dedivanovic, shares with Galmour that baking gives off a dramatic look, and should not be used for everyday wear.

A synonym for baking is cooking (and we’re not talking in the kitchen sense). But no matter what term you use, the result is the same. Baking/cooking is guaranteed to give you the whole I-just-woke-up-like-this flawless look.
