What To Wear To: An Interview

June 12, 2008 by Bryn

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression, so looking your best for an interview should be number one on your list. You'll be nervous enough as it is, so with the right ensemble, at least your mind can be free to fret over your resume (or whether your breath is fresh enough).

You'll want to look professional but not as if you are trying too hard, so a secretary-esque bow tie blouse (very chic this season) and make sure to tuck the top into the skirt so as not to appear sloppy or unkempt.  Then, slip on some simple yet structured gold statement bracelet that shows your penchant for fun. You can add a pop of color with ruby red studs. Before you nervously walk out the door, pack your resume in a black patent leather tote that exudes professionalism, sophistication, and above all else, style.
