Manolo Blahnik – thanks to Carrie Bradshaw – is known for his high fashion (and price tag). But did you know he hates “chunky American shoes”, too? The designer recently dismissed platform shoes in his new book, stating that they are “the wrong shape for the leg.” Much like when Calvin Klein decried shorts, we think its a sign of a high-end designer being a bit out of touch with fashion reality.
