The actress, singer, and model is no stranger to serving a bold and edgy look that is usually completed with a nude or red lip. So when it came time for her take on the Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks (one of her favorite beauty products), these were the two shades she focused on.
“I think nudes and reds are the perfect colors for lipstick. I think if you want to do a strong eye, a nude is always perfect for the lips. If you want more of a daytime look, a nude is also perfect. And if you want to be more sexy and sophisticated, red is always good.”- Zoë Kravitz
The collaboration is available in three nudes and three reds from a pretty rose nude to a strong dark red and comes in three finishes including satiny radiance, radiant matte, and shimmer satin.
YSL Zoe Kravitz Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick ($38)
Not only was she hands-on when creating the colors (which are all named after someone she loves) but she also was involved in designing the packaging, with the finished product being an eye-catching mix of black matte and glossy black lacquer. When asked on what her inspiration behind the casing was, she noted that the black logo on the black packaging was influenced by one of her favorite Saint Laurent bags, the Niki bag, and the eye-catching glitter came from the iconic Black Opium bottle.
