Beyonce and Gossip Girl‘s Taylor Momsen are trying to start a stripper shoe trend, and it’s not OK. Let’s just kill the look now before it gets any bigger:
Ladies, leave the lucite platform stripper heels to the pole dancers who know how to use them. Not only are they incredibly cheap looking, but they cannot be comfortable. The only “peep show” we approve of is a little peep toe pump, and we prefer “strappy” not “stripper” when it comes to heels. Love, SHEfinds.

Beyonce‘s are an otherwise chic, strappy pair, but the Lucite heel takes them from sexy to skanky in a hot minute.

What they should have done:
If Beyonce was craving a sexy black pair, she should have gone for these Jessica Bennett ‘Korina’ Platform sandals ($144.95) instead. They are still super hot – without resembling something a lady of the night would wear.
Taylor Momsen should use the “tips” to buy these sexy, sparkly Steve Madden ‘Naughtty’ sandals ($99.95). They are playful without being in poor taste.
