We know Birkenstocks are back in a big way this spring/summer, but there are some seriously fug pairs running around. We shouldn’t be that surprised though, I mean, we are talking about the go-to shoes for hippies, stoners and sleepaway campers…aka, the people who don’t really care what’s on their feet as long as it’s comfy.
After seeing fashion bloggers and even celebs give the trend a try, I’m officially ready to give in. But I can guarantee you will NOT catch me dead in any of these. From platforms to Doc Marten-inspired Birks, these are officially the fugliest flatbed sandals to come out of the trend revival.
