I started running competitively as an 11-year-old.

Growing up a serious runner, I delighted in eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Carbo loading wasn’t just a privilege, it was something we did the night before big races as it’s proven to aid in performance over long distances.

I’ve continued running as an adult and it’s been challenging to reframe my eating habits. In my 20s, I still gravitated towards pizza and pasta—so it was no wonder I dealt with cramping and bloating issues! Now in my 30s, I’m still working on the way I fuel my body and a big part of that has been trying out different supplements. Things like daily vitamins come loaded with nutrients, while probiotics are packed with good-for-your-gut bacteria. All of it has made a big difference for me!

There are tons of supplements on the market, but one thing I always look for when purchasing a brand are words like “all-natural” and “doctor endorsed.” Health and wellness brand Goodness Lover checks both of these boxes and then some. The woman-and-POC-owned company believes that a healthy gut is the foundation for a vibrant life—and they’re committed to providing potent products and educational courses (think expert-led masterclasses) that help people unlock the power of their gut microbiome to achieve a healthy self. All their work is done in collaboration with world-renowned doctors and educators, and all their products are comprised of all-natural ingredients, free from unnecessary artificial fillers and additives.

Just like their tagline promises, this is “Goodness You Can Trust,” so I was excited to learn that Goodness Lover recently launched two new supplements. FWIW I’m planning on purchasing both of them!

Goodness Lover Magbiotic ($49.95)

Did you know that 80% of people don’t get enough Magnesium?

Among other things, Magnesium supports healthy gut and brain function by regulating your nervous system and managing stress, so a Magnesium imbalance can make it harder to relax. And the more stressed you are, the more your body depletes itself of magnesium. Yikes!

In great news for us, Goodness Lover’s new Magbiotic supplement provides highly-absorbable Magnesium Glycinate, ensuring your body gets the essential minerals it needs. This powerful triple blend (which also includes Affron® saffron and ProbioBrain® psychobiotic) is clinically proven to reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, and support emotional well-being.

Science tells us that stress doesn’t just impact your brain/mood, but your whole body, especially the gut. I love that Magbiotic targets this critical connection from both sides, helping to restore the balance between your gut and brain. It’s the perfect supplement for those of us dealing with digestive issues and/or anxiety spirals. (BRB, ordering some for myself!)

Goodness Lover Synbiotic Complete ($69.95)

As I’ve learned, cramping and bloating can be your body’s way of telling you that something isn’t right. A healthy body starts with a healthy gut—and your gut deserves the best, so give it this Synbiotic Complete!

Synbiotic Complete is different from other probiotics because rather than containing a single strain, it brings together prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics to rebalance your microbiome and transform your health from the inside out. Each extensively-researched probiotic strain was carefully selected for its unique benefits that are backed by clinical studies.

In other words, this is a multi-strain approach you can trust. It’s a comprehensive solution for total gut health that will simultaneously improve your skin, smooth digestion, reduce bloating, and even improve your immune system.

In addition to its two newest supplements, Goodness Lover is also planning to launch a new version of the brand’s popular Gut Soothe & Glow supplement in April. Gut Soothe & Glow is all about nourishing the gut lining and calming inflammation, so I can’t wait for the Version 2.0!

Cheers to living life as our happiest, healthiest selves.
