Splurging on the occasional item is a necessary evil in having a great wardrobe--sometimes it's not financially the best idea, but if you want to look *fabulous* you can't wear head-to-toe Forever 21 all the time. These coats are home runs--they look polished, sophisticated, expensive, cool. If you buy one now, you'll be able to wear it all fall and winter. If you do the fashion math, that ends up being pretty affordable per wear.
