It’ll help save money by not having to buy a ton of ingredients while also getting in your protein with this recipe! Read on to get all the details.
Tonya calls this the “world’s simplest crock-pot recipe” and says all you need are the following: 3-pound bag of chicken breast (you can do tenderloin too), 3/4 jar of salsa, 1 taco packet, and Hidden Valley ranch seasoning.
She adds all those ingredients to the crock-pot and cooks that on low for about 5-6 hours or high for 4 hours.
To serve, she takes a nacho route by shredding the chicken, adding low-fat cottage cheese and shredded cheddar on top, and drizzling her choice of hot sauce. She scoops it up with high-protein nacho chips.
