Everyone faces issues with inflammation in one way or another. Whether you experience it in the form of abdominal bloating, joint pain or flawed skin, all inflammation can be reduced in the same way: improving your diet.

We all know that a poor diet can lead to weight gain, but what most people don’t consider is that eating the wrong foods can cause a ton of other health problems. And a very common problem caused by poor diet is inflammation.

There is one everyday vitamin we should all be having with breakfast each morning to help reduce inflammation and prevent bloating: vitamin E.

This commonly overlooked vitamin plays an essential role in fighting inflammation, ridding toxins from the body and improving the overall function of our bodies throughout the day,

Healthline explains, "Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It may help protect your cells from damage. This essential nutrient occurs naturally in many foods. It’s also available as a dietary supplement. Sometimes, it’s in processed foods. Vitamin E is fat-soluble. This means your body stores and uses it as needed."

Getting 15 miligrams of vitamin E per day can help maintain proper function in our joints, circulation, brain, vision and skin. You can either take vitamin E in supplements, or simply try to eat more foods rich in the vitamin.

Foods that contain vitamin E include canola oil, olive oil, margarine, almonds, peanuts, meats, dairy, leafy greens and fortified cereals.
