For the most part, Apple and its devices and accessories have a stellar reputation as top-notch products that are usually worth every penny. The problem is many of them cost many, many pennies, which means it’s important to weed out the best Apple products that deserve your money from those that are not up to par. If you are concerned with your phone’s battery power, data, and performance, some accessories are simply not worth your time and investment. Among them is this one: this is the one Apple accessory that ruins your iPhone, according to a tech expert.

A multi-purpose carabiner + charger

Sometimes multitasking accessories are not the way to go, and Apple’s multi-purpose carabiner and charger is no exception, says Tech Expert Cindy Corpis, CEO of SearchPeopleFree. “This Apple multi-purpose carabiner charger is another waste of money and the worst Apple accessory,” Corpis says. “A charger is built with an aluminum carabiner, which works simultaneously as a keychain and a bottle opener. It could be a practical item, even if its design weren’t that bulky. Such an accessory is suitable for emergency cases, which help hold the charger on the keychain.”

However, the multi-purpose accessory gives nothing but a bizarre look while carrying, Corpis confirms. “If one requires to charge their phone numerous times, they can carry a power bank, which might be more worthy than this multi-purpose carabiner charger.”

And a second tip if you are trying to boost your phone’s battery and performance: turn off Siri suggestions.

“Siri, your digital assistant, offers various suggestions regarding your activity, and it drains your iPhone battery out,” Corpis says. “Therefore, you need to stop this by navigating to settings > Siri and Search. Now, you can disable or enable those under Siri suggestions on the home and lock screen.”

Follow these two suggestions to help boost your phone’s battery power and increase its functionality.
