Apple is opening “mini stores” in some Target locations this year!
The Minneapolis-based chain announced via press release on February 25th that it would be “enhancing” the Apple shopping experience in its stores by developed “scaled-down” replicas of Apple stand-alone stores within its tech aisle. This is huge!
The stores, which will be rolled out in 17 store locations in the coming months, will come complete with new lighting, displays, "specially trained" employees, and even more Apple products to shop!

The company is also doing a refresh of the Apple product landing page on its app and website.

"Apple products are popular with Target's guests, and this new, dedicated shopping experience offers enhanced service and expanded offerings, building on our strength as a go-to destination for electronics," executive vice president and chief growth officer Christina Hennington said in the statement.
Where will the special new Apple locations be? Target confirmed that you can find them at five store locations in Texas, four in Florida with the rest across New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

The Target locations in Monticello, MN; San Jose, CA; Oklahoma City, OK, Allen, TX; Hurst, TX; Austin, TX; Irving, TX; San Antonio, TX; Gainesville, FL; Orlando, FL; Clearwater, FL; Miami, FL; North Wales, PA; Newark, DE; Woburn, MA; Nashua, NH; and Latham, NY will all be outfitted with the new Apple set up.
"This new model was created with Target’s guests in mind, and we’ll continue to learn and enhance the experience through future rollouts later this year," Hennington continued. Exciting!
