Pierre notes, “The low plank twist is an amazing exercise for your obliques. While performing this exercise, the transverse abdominis, rectus abdominis, and obliques are all engaged.”

Body Weight Glute Bridges

Additionally, he says that the Glute Bridge exercise is a staple in the training he provides. “In order to preform the exercise correctly, the core has to be engaged! When performing this exercise, your glutes, hamstrings, erector spinae, and most importantly your transverse abdominis (core muscles), are all engaged and actively working.”
