1. Divergent
Divergent is a dystopian science fiction film set in a future society where people are divided into factions based on their personality traits. The story follows Tris Prior, who discovers that she is a "Divergent," meaning she does not fit into any one faction. This discovery puts her in danger as the government sees Divergents as a threat to the social order. Tris joins the Dauntless faction, known for bravery, where she undergoes rigorous training and uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the stability of their society. An action-packed film based on the best selling book series by Veronica Roth, this one (and the sequels!) make for the perfect movie night.
2. 1917
1917 is a war film set during World War I. It follows two British soldiers, Lance Corporals Schofield and Blake, who are given a seemingly impossible mission: to deliver a message deep into enemy territory to prevent a British battalion from walking into a trap. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and witness the brutal realities of war. The cinematography, which gives the impression of a single continuous shot, immerses viewers in the harrowing journey of these two young men as they race against time to save their comrades. Another interesting aspect of the film is that there's very minimal dialogue, leaving the emotions on the faces of the actors to do a lot of the talking.
3. Bridgerton (Season 3, Part 2)
The fan-favorite "Bridgerton" returned for Season 3 on Netflix last month with just the first four episodes dropping May 16. Luckily, you won't have to wait much longer for the second four, which will be releasing on June 13. Set in the early 1800s in London, the show follows young adults who are being introduced into the social scene to find true love and become a member of society. Packed with love, drama, and old English glitz and glamour, Bridgerton is a must-watch. If you haven't seen it already, now is the perfect time to get started on Season 1, Season 2, and the first part of Season 3—also on Netflix—so you can binge watch the rest of Season 3 the moment it drops.
4. The Lego Movie
The Lego Movie follows the journey of an ordinary Lego construction worker named Emmet Brickowski. Living in a world where conformity is valued above all else, Emmet is mistakenly identified as the "Special," a master builder prophesied to save the Lego universe from the tyrannical Lord Business. With a reluctant eclectic crew including Wyldstyle, Batman, and Vitruvius, Emmet embarks on an epic adventure to stop Lord Business from using the dreaded Kragle to freeze the Lego world forever. This is a charming children's movie that showcases the power of teamwork, creativity, individuality, and the power of imagination. Perfect for a summer movie night with friends and family!

Phil, determined to finally beat his father at something, transforms from a passive dad into an overly aggressive coach, recruiting his father's soccer rival, Mike Ditka, for help. Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian—albeit not the one he's looking for.
11. The Conjuring
Of course, bringing up the rear of this list is The Conjuring, a classic horror movie. A supernatural horror film based on the real-life experiences of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, the story follows the Perron family, who move into a secluded farmhouse in Rhode Island and begin experiencing terrifying supernatural occurrences. As the haunting intensifies, the Perrons seek help from the Warrens, who specialize in investigating paranormal phenomena.
