Weight loss has always been a challenging journey for many, and recently, medications such as Ozempic have gained widespread popularity for their ability to aid in weight loss. Even certain celebrities like Oprah have praised the medication for its assistance in reaching their weight goal and achieving a healthy lifestyle.
Ozempic was originally made to manage type 2 diabetes. It has shown impressive results when it comes to reducing appetite and promoting further weight loss. However, all medications can have side effects. While ozempic can certainly help with fat loss, there are also natural foods that offer similar results. These foods naturally aid in regulating appetite and improving metabolism while offering a more holistic alternative to pharmaceutical options.

Base for soup: 4 Roma tomatoes, 1 red pepper, 1 onion, 3-4 garlic cloves, add 1/2-1 cup of water, and blend. Set aside.
Soup content: 2-3 tbsp olive oil, 4-6 carrots, 4 zucchinis, 1 small head of cabbage, 6 cups of water.
Toppings for soup to garnish: 1 bunch cilantro, 2 jalapeños, 2 limes.
Seasoning to taste: 2 packets of Goya Sazón, 2 tbsp salt, 1–2 tbsp pepper, 1-2 tbsp garlic powder, 1-2 tbsp onion powder. Season to taste.
She begins by washing and peeling the skin off of her zucchini and carrots. Next, she roughly chops 4 Roma tomatoes, 1 red bell pepper, and 1 white onion, blending these ingredients with some water. Afterward, she chops a small head of cabbage, the 4 zucchinis, 4 carrots, and 2 jalapeños.
In a large pot, she heats up some olive oil and adds the cabbage, minced garlic (3-4 cloves), carrots, and zucchini. She stirs the mixture and seasons it with garlic and onion powder. Then, she pours in the tomato purée, mixing well.
After adding water and a packet of Goya Sazón seasoning, she lets the soup cook thoroughly. To serve, she ladles some into a bowl and garnishes with cilantro, jalapeño slices, and some lime juice. That’s it!
