Costco is closing its photo centers in all clubs, the company just announced via statement.
The warehouse retailer will soon shutter its in-store photo services by February 14th. How sad!

In a statement titled “Important Photo Center Announcement” on their website, the Washington-based chain revealed that it would be closing its beloved photo centers within weeks.
The photo center offered prints, enlargements, posters, stationary, photo greeting cards, photo books, calendars, photo blankets, all photo gifts and business printing services. Aka, a huge loss!
In the release, the company asserted that many of the photo services will be available on the website with delivery options. However, leaving forever will be ink refills, passport photos, photo restoration and YesVideo Home Movie Transfer Service. Say it ain’t so!

Twitter users immediately reacted.
"Man, Costco is closing their photo center down. A part of me just died," bemoaned one user.
"Im [sic] shook. Costco is getting ride of there [sic] photo center. Made [sic] people still use it! Where am i supposed to go now," wrote another. Wow, customers are NOT happy about this change!
