"Mangoes are renowned for their rich flavour, but they are also high in calories and natural sugars, which can contribute to weight gain when consumed excessively," Ozdemir states.

Mangos are calorie-dense and can contribute to weight gain if consumed in large portions frequently without attention to portion control. Nonetheless, mangos offer a wealth of other essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber, making them a healthy choice when enjoyed in moderation as part of a well-balanced diet.
