Always on Display

If you have an iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro Max you’ll see an option in settings called Always on Display. This setting always you to see a few important phone features, even if your phone display isn’t awake. It will feature the time, date, widgets, and notifications on the Home Screen. This can be a convenient feature if you just want a glance at who has sent you a message or what day it is, without going through the hassle of awakening your device. But it’s also a battery drainer, according to some users.

You can customize this setting and reduce the drain it has on your battery by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > Always on Display. Toggle the setting on or off and adjust it as necessary.

Use MFI-Certified Cables and Chargers

There is a lot of intelligent technology built into MFI-certified cables and chargers that makes it possible to deliver the perfect amount of charging to Apple devices. These accessories are tailor-made for your phone and are the only charging accessories you should use for your iPhone. If you succumb to the temptation of buying cheap cables and chargers from unknown brands that are NOT made for iPhone, you risk damaging the phone battery with a too-fast charge that heats up the battery quickly and degrades it over time.
