These “smart” iPhone hacks do everything from easily restoring photos you accidentally deleted to making it a cinch to delete multiple tabs in Safari so that you don’t have to take up 10 minutes of your day closing out pages. Here are the tips you need to know.

1. Close Multiple Safari Tabs

Instead of closing out each Safari tab, one by one, which can take forever to do if you’ve been scrolling for hours, there’s a simple hack that will accomplish this swiftly. Tap the Tabs icon in the lower-right corner and view and hold the “Done” button. When the pop-up appears tap on "Close All [X] Tabs.”

2. Undo Accidentally Deleting Photos

We’ve all been there: you get a little too eager when deleting photos and accidentally delete a few you’d rather hold onto. Instead of going back to the Deleted folder to recover them, shake your phone. A pop-up will appear asking if you want to recover deleted photos. You’ll have to enable “Shake to Undo” in Settings for this one to work.

3. Reduce White Point

If your phone’s screen is far too bright at night and is hurting your eyes, a simple hack can help. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display and Text Size. Here you can use the slider to Reduce White Paint. This helps soften the screen’s light so that it’s more comfortable for your eyes.
