Burger King is unveiling a brand new chicken sandwich this week, and fans on social media can’t seem to get enough of the exciting menu item.
Beginning November 14th, Burger King brought the Italian BK Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich to select US locations, with the others by November 17th nationwide, and according to the fast food chain, it is only available for a limited time. Here’s what we know:

What Is The Italian BK Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich?
Burger King’s latest sandwich is composed of a crispy, white meat chicken breast fillet, which is then topped with marinara sauce and melted Mozzarella cheese on a toasted potato bun.
While only available for a limited time, customers can grab one at participating locations. Fan reactions have been more positive regarding the Italian Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich online, with one fan on YouTube describing it to have a “chicken parm” vibe and deeming it to be “very tasty,” “fresh,” and “juicy.”
As reported by The Takeout, a chicken parmesan-type of sandwich is not new for Burger King, who first offered a similar item as early as 1979. After a seven-year hiatus in the 2010s, Burger King’s Original Italian Chicken Sandwich returned to menus in 2021. Previous similar offerings include the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and the Italian Original Chicken Sandwich.

Prices for the sandwich vary, with some fans and food writers reporting it to be anywhere from $6.09 to $6.99. There is also an exclusive offer in the BK mobile app where customers can get the Italian Royal Crispy Chicken sandwich along with small fries, and a small drink for $7.
