There are so many streaming services popping up, it seems like there is a new service you can subscribe to every day. Most people subscribe to more than one streaming service, and once you’ve signed up for enough you can pretty much watch any TV show or movie that you want, whenever you want. But when you are signing up for more streaming services, you should pay close attention because there is one that you probably shouldn’t be paying for.
You probably shouldn’t be paying for Disney Plus. The relatively new streaming service launched at the end of 2019 and already has over 50 million subscribers. The service has just about all the new and classic Disney content you can imagine, from animated princess classics to Disney Channel Original Movies, and new releases to nature documentaries. But there is a surprising reason why you shouldn’t pay for Disney Plus.

Disney Plus is free to Verizon Fios subscribers, people with Verizon Wireless accounts, recent buyers of Chromebooks, Disney park employees and even Delta Skymile members.
Before paying for Disney Plus, take a look through some of your existing subscriptions to see if you’re eligible for a free year of the content.
