Taco Bell revealed that its eagerly awaited Crispy Chicken Nuggets would make their debut on menus across the country on December 19, 2024. Along with the nuggets, the chain introduced three new dipping sauces over the past few weeks, featuring a first-time collaboration with Hidden Valley for their Fire Ranch Sauce. The other two options are Jalapeño Honey Mustard and Bell Sauce.

They feature all-white meat chicken marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and breaded with tortilla chips. Served with one of their 3 new sauces: Hidden Valley Fire Ranch sauce, Bell sauce, or Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauce. They didn’t stop there, they also have 2 new drinks: Blue Raspberry Freeze and Midnight Cherry Freeze (they sold out of Midnight Cherry and gave us Strawberry instead ) But still both were good and we thought it was refreshing even for the weather right now! Our thoughts: we think they got the name right because they were definitely still crispy when we brought it home to eat! Can taste the spices and we like the innovative way to use tortilla chips as breading to be different from other chicken nuggets out there already. All of the new sauces are a must try and have their own kick and pairs with the nuggets very well (even the fries!) We definitely need to go back and try the Midnight Cherry Freeze. Taco Bell Fans Are Praising The Chain’s New Crispy Chicken Nuggets And 3 Limited-Time Dipping Sauces
In a statement provided to Food & Wine, Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s chief marketing officer, revealed: “As the inventors of Nacho Fries, Taco Bell is fully aware that reinventing an American classic with a Taco Bell twist is a responsibility we don’t take lightly. But in a world dominated by chicken cravings, it was time to show the world how Taco Bell does chicken nuggets — unexpected and undeniably bold.”
Soon after trying the chain’s new Crispy Chicken Nuggets, one fan noted on X (formerly Twitter), that these items are “one of the absolute best nuggets ever made.” Another wrote that they “have 72 grams of protein and only 670 calories,” calling them an “insane deal.” Someone else commented: “Best thing on their menu tbh.” One other replied: “Just had them! Delicious and the pieces are way bigger than any other nugget out there. All three sauces were good, jalapeño honey mustard being the best.”
Montgomery also told Food & Wine that the "Crispy Chicken Nuggets deliver a crispier, more flavorful nugget experience, and combined with the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, we hope it will test people’s devotion to their favorite nuggets." As for the three dipping sauces, the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce is described as "a spicy, tangy dipping sauce that elevates the new crispy chicken nuggets to the next level."
The Bell sauce is said to be "a familiar, rich, creamy, and tangy signature blend with subtle chili notes crafted with tomatoes, red chiles, and garlic." Last but not least, Taco Bell notes that the Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauce "fuses sweet and heat" for the perfect amount of spice.
How Long Will These New Items Be Available?
Taco Bell fans can buy the fresh nuggets in a set of five, accompanied by one dipping sauce, for $3.99, or a set of ten with two dipping sauces for $6.99. Combo deals are available as well. However, if you're eager to taste them, you'll need to hurry.
The company mentions that these will be available at select locations for a short period only. If you're a Taco Bell Rewards Member, you have the chance to enjoy them for only $1 on January 21, 2025.
