Each August, Target sees a flood of customers for their back-to-school offerings, and this year is no exception. To help make your next shopping trip a breeze, we combed through the best items the store has to offer and selected five fan-favorites that are perfect for the first day of school. These include delicious snacks, stylish shoes, and fun pencil pouches, all at unbeatable prices.

1. Avocado, Unicorn or Game Control Pencil Case

Your kids can carry their pencils and stationery items in the cutest avocado, game controller or unicorn-shaped case, for $12.99 each, as popular Target-themed Instagram account @targetfanatic points out! Fans recently shared their love for these items in a post dedicated to them from the page. “Very cute,” one wrote with heart-eyes emojis as another added: “Neeeeeed”

 

2. General Mills Cereal ‘Go! Boxes’

Mornings before school can be hectic, and these convenient cereal boxes found at Target help prevent additional stress! They can also help make a quick snack.  For $7.99 each, you can pick up a cereal pack with popular brands like Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios and Golden Grahams, as popular page @junkfoodinthetrunk3 notes.

In a post made in honor of these Target finds, the account creator wrote: “There are 4 varieties… @cinnamontoastcrunch with dried blueberries and honey granola bites, Cocoa Puffs with dried cherries and dark chocolate granola bites, Chocolate Peanut Butter @cheerios with dried blueberries and dark chocolate granola bites and Golden Grahams with dried cherries and honey granola bites.”

One fellow fan commented: “My kiddo loved these! They seemed pricy but honestly it’s a good amount of cereal and snack , and he was happy so it’s a win win.” Another wrote: “Excited to try!”

3. Stanley Quencher H2.O Tumblr

Spending extensive amounts of time at school requires your kids to stay properly hydrated. With these new tumblers available at Target, they can keep up their energy and wellness in style! As @targetiseverything showed fans on Instagram, they come in several chic shades like moss and taupe.

These great quality tumblers are $45 each, and high schoolers will love how it can be filled with up to 40 oz of water, iced coffee or tea. Under a new post with the item, one fan wrote: “Love these colors” as another replied: “Sssoooooo cute!!!!!!”

4. Wild Fable White High-Top Sneakers

White sneakers can provide a great finish to any look and remain a timeless must-have in any wardrobe, throughout all four seasons. Instagram account @target_addictedmama found a durable and cute pair from Target’s brand Wild Fable for $40 each. The creator wrote in a new post: “I recommend getting them before they are gone. They’re only $40 for these high-top white sneakers, which is a great price compared to the converse ones. They also come in black.”

One fan commented: “Whattttt these are awesome!!!” as another noted: “they can go with everything!”

5. Universal Thread Betsy Clog Mule Flats

Flats and clogs are a cute and comfy addition to any high school or middle schooler’s closet, and these new shoes from Target’s Universal Thread brand are too good to pass up. For just $29.99 a pair, you can grab your favorite color. The offered options include black, cognac and taupe. Fan account @targetdoesitagain showed all three versions of the shoe in a new post, and fans couldn’t get enough of the chic kicks in the comment section.

Many deemed them to be great Birkenstock knockoffs as others pointed out how “90s style is back again,” much to their delight!
