Target has confirmed via Twitter that it no longer sells Archer Farms branded products in stores. From trail mix to cookies, the beloved, popular and (now discontinued) brand provided more affordable versions of many shoppers’ favorite foods as opposed to name brands, and the quality of these products has always been commended by fans on social media. Some even dubbed it the “best” out of the brands that Target offered.

One user on Twitter recently wrote to the chain, “@Target @archerfarms where is the archer farms at? I’ve had all frozen pizzas at Target and that one is the best and it’s gone.”
Target responded, “Hello – Thank you for taking the time to contact Target. I apologize you are no longer able to find the pizza you are looking for.” They added, “Unfortunately, we are going away from that brand and it is being replaced by good and gather.”

Target Confirms That Archer Farms Branded Products Have Been Discontinued
The dismayed customer replied to the department store chain, “That’s unfortunate. I’ve tried all your frozen pizzas as somewhat of a gimmick to my friends and that one received the highest score by far.” They added, “Good and Gather actually sucked. So you should revisit whatever test you did.”

On weekends, I miss Target brand Archer Farms’ fancy waffle mixes. The red velvet was so damn good & some evil entity discontinued it.

As the U.S. Sun notes, Target’s Archer Farms brand was first introduced in 1995. In 2013, it launched Simply Balanced as another in-store food brand alternative. as 2019 came to a close, the grocer then began “phasing out both brands,” as the outlet points out, and replacing them with the then-new Good & Gather brand.

What Good & Gather Products Can Customers Find At Target?
The roll-out “began in phases,” according to the publication, and was completed in early 2021. Now, Good & Gather offers thousands of products “ranging from dairy to produce, pasta and meats to sparkling water,” as written by the Sun.

Shoppers can also find avocado toast salad kits and beet hummus from the brand with prices often ranging from $1.99 and $31.99 depending on which foods you are buying. Ultimately, many might find these products to be significantly cheaper than name brands, as the outlet says, so it could serve the same purpose as Archer Farms.
