The big box store announced that it has added three significant additions to its safety measure:
To start, you can now get contactless payment at self-checkout stations. You don't need to pick up the hand scanner; simply scan your Wallet barcode via the Target app once you're done scanning items to complete the transaction.
Next, you can now checkout from anywhere inside the store so you don't have to wait in a checkout line. Just find a Target team member with a "handheld MyCheckout device" to pay for your items from any aisle.
“Year over year, the investments we’ve made in our business and team have made Target the easiest place to shop in America. As we’ve navigated the pandemic, that focus has evolved to ensure we’re also creating the safest place for our guests to shop,” CEO Brian Cornell said in the release.
“As we approach the holidays, guests can feel confident in choosing Target—a safe experience, incredible value and a differentiated assortment that will help them celebrate the joy of the season.”
