Losing weight effectively requires a combination of dedication, strategy, and time. While there are many approaches to weight loss, focusing on actionable tips can help streamline the process and make your journey more manageable. For those looking to see significant results, there are powerful strategies you can implement over the next 90 days to accelerate weight loss. These tips can help optimize your diet, boost your metabolism, and enhance your fitness routine, setting you on a path to achieve your weight loss goals more quickly.

Certified nutrition coach Ashley (ashleymay970) recently revealed to her over 161K followers on TikTok exactly what she would do if her goal was to lose 30 pounds in 90 days.

Ashley shared that she lost 30 pounds, a process that took her two years. However, after her weight loss journey, she believes it’s possible to achieve the same results in just 90 days.

Tip #1: No calorie counting—focus on whole foods

To accelerate the process, Ashley’s first advice is to not count your calories.

“I would not count my calories, but I would up my protein intake to my body weight in protein every single day,” she says.

She suggests buying smaller plates and focusing on including protein, fats, and carbs in every meal. Prioritize whole foods and cut back on processed junk.

Tip #2: Walk 7-10K steps daily

Ashley’s second tip is to walk at least 7-10K steps daily. If you want to “walk, swim, jump, crawl, it’s the most underrated thing people are doing for fat loss. I wasn’t doing it either; [but] the fat in my waistline just started shedding.”

Regular walking increases your metabolic rate, helping your body burn more calories even at rest. The more consistent you are, the more efficiently your body uses energy.

Tip #3: Drink lots of water

Often, the body can mistake thirst for hunger. Staying hydrated can help control unnecessary snacking by curbing cravings and making you feel fuller.

“Your body will not lose weight if you’re chronically dehydrated. So you need to be drinking a lot of water, like 100 ounces to 120 ounces every single day,” she notes. She also adds that adding electrolytes is also key.

Tip #4: 7-9 hours of sleep every night

Lack of sleep can lead to increased cravings for sugary and high-fat foods as your body seeks quick energy sources. Adequate sleep helps control these cravings, making it easier to stick to a healthy diet.

Ashley says the benefits of proper sleep are endless, including “less sugar cravings and more energy the next day.”

Tip #5: Plant-Based CLA

Plant-based CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) is a naturally occurring fatty acid typically found in meat and dairy products, but plant-based versions are derived from sources like safflower oil. CLA is known for its potential benefits in promoting fat loss and improving body composition.

CLA is believed to enhance the body’s ability to burn fat by increasing the breakdown of fat cells for energy. This can help reduce overall body fat, particularly in stubborn areas like the abdomen.

“I found one a year ago that helped me lose the rest of my 20 pounds. It’s clinically proven to inhibit fat storage and reduce your fat cell size,” she reveals.
