Walgreens will begin offering the COVID-19 vaccine in stores this week!
The company announced that on February 12th it would begin distributing the life-saving vaccine at approximately stores across the U.S., including 190 locations in Wisconsin.

Local news affiliate Fox6 reports that the pharmacy chain had been selected by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and United States Department of Health and Human Services to provide a limited number of Covid vaccines across the state.
The report states that around "17,800 doses" that were allocated for the state would be made available to eligible individuals in the states--health care workers, people ages 65 and older and individuals with pre-existing conditions--on that date.

Wisconsin residents who qualify can make their appointment for a vaccine on Walgreens' Covid portal.
