Another day, another COVID-19 testing announcement that we are so relieved by!
Walgreens just announced that it will open drive-thru testing sites at its stores nationwide.
The pharmacy chain already has 20 testing sites open in 11 states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

The publicly traded company announced the plans on their coronavirus response website and revealed that more testing sites will be coming soon!
The testing is free for individuals who show symptoms, in keeping with the CDC's guidelines.
At the testing locations, Walgreens pharmacists will oversee the self-administered nasal swab test, and results will be available within 24 hours.
We applaud the chain for helping to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus; testing is so important.
