Walmart announced that it will be offering free returns as part of a new partnership with FedEx!
The company revealed the exciting news in a blog post titled “‘Tis the Season for Hassle-Free Returns” on December 21st. This “incredibly convenient” new offering certainly helps ease the tension of this unusual Covid holiday season!

America's largest retailer announced that the service, called “Carrier Pickup with FedEx,” would allow customers to return any item that was shipped and sold by Walmart.com from the comfort of their home.
"This new return option is not only super-easy but also free, and here to stay beyond the holiday season," vice president, customer strategy, science and journeys Linne Fulcher wrote in the article. Yippee!

The company has also recently enabled paid 2-hour delivery for orders made by 1pm on December 24, and is crushing online sales for the quarter (they're up 79%). We love to see it!
To use the service, first schedule a date for pickup, print a return label through Walmart’s website or app, then a FedEx employee will pick up the package from your doorstep.

If you don't have a printer, you can use a QR code to return items at FedEx Office locations (similarly to how Kohl's takes Amazon returns).
“Combined with a year unlike any other, we knew it was time to look at our return policies and processes to ensure they were safe and headache-free,” Fulcher wrote. And we are thankful for that!
