Walmart Just Made A Huge Change To Its Store Policy--We Can’t Believe It!

Walmart just made a huge announcement about their store hours. The retailer announced that it would be continuing its senior shopping hours to help protect those with a higher risk of contracting Covid-19.

According to USA Today, "[Walmart's] special shopping hour for seniors and those most vulnerable has been extended. Initially, the designated hour began in March and was set to end in late April but was extended through May and now until further notice."

Walmart reserves time for its senior hour on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 AM. This hour is for customers age 60 and older who may be more vulnerable. Walmart's pharmacies and vision centers are also open during senior hour.

Their statement continued, "As for operating hours, right now our priority is making additional services available (auto care center, vision center, etc.) as it is safe to do so. After that we’ll decide the best approach to expanding hours."

Walmart is not the only company to make this statement.

 

Acccording to Mashed, Costco, Target, Sam's Club, and Dollar Tree have all made similar decisions when it comes to store hours.
