Walmart has begun distributing COVID-19 vaccines by appointment at store locations across the U.S.!

The big box store confirmed to the Chicago Tribune earlier this month that at certain locations, including 8 of their Chicago stores, the company was administering additional doses of the vaccine upon approval from health officials.

If you recall, the Arkansas-based chain is among a handful of retailers approved for Covid-19 vaccine administration in the U.S.

Walmart pharmacists "received training on handling the vaccine and dealing with vaccine hesitancy," the paper said via health and wellness director Sarah Sultan.

As you can imagine, the demand has been high to receive the life-saving vaccinations.

“Demand has been high, and we’ve had a lot of patients come early to appointments,” Sulton told CT.
