ShopRite is one of the first pharmacies where you can get the Covid vaccine, the company has announced via release.
Along with Publix, CVS and Walgreens, ShopRite has begun the important work of administering the life-saving vaccine in New Jersey. This is huge! Here’s everything you need to know about the news:

On January 4th, the company released a statement revealing that 39 of their pharmacy locations in New Jersey are set to begin administering COVID vaccines "as part of its partnership with the state of New Jersey, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)."
The grocery chain revealed that they would be following the federal government's phased outlines for distribution, giving them to healthcare workers first.

“We are excited to be part of the initial stages of this unprecedented public health campaign as we begin vaccinating healthcare workers who are on the front lines in the COVID-19 pandemic,” vice president of pharmacy, health & beauty at Wakefern Food Corp. (the logistics, distribution and merchandising arm for ShopRite stores) Jeffrey Mondelli, RPh, said in the statement.
The vaccine is not yet available to the general public, but ShopRite's press release revealed that it anticipated expanding access to the vaccine as soon as possible. Yippee!
