The Difference Between Dragging Through Your Day And Feeling Great On Your Feet? These Arch Support Insoles

Is soft skin on your bucket list for 2023? If so, we’re going to suggest you add a body scrub to your shower routine. Body scrubs are great for exfoliating your skin which aids in removing dead skin cells while also unclogging your pores. It’s time to throw out your old loofah (don’t worry we all have one) and opt for a new product that will change the way your skin looks and feels. We vetted and tested the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish, $6.97 to see how it fares compared to other scrubs out there.

Key Ingredients: Calendula Oil and Mango Butter

You’re probably thinking, what is calendula oil? It is a popular ingredient in many skin care products and helps to alleviate skin irritation with its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Oftentimes, it’s used to treat rosacea, rashes and eczema which makes it great for a body scrub. Not only is mango a delicious fruit, but it also has great benefits when it is used on your skin. The mango butter found in the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish, $6.97 is great for moisturizing and softening the skin, two things that I constantly look for when purchasing products.

Key Features: Exfoliating Particles and Dove’s Moisturizing Cream

I have used Dove shower and hair products ever since I can remember. Not only are they affordable, but they work extremely well on my skin and hair that I’ve never wanted to try anything else! This body scrub is formulated with ¼ of Dove’s moisturizing cream that was an immediate selling point for me because it helps to make your skin feel instantly soft which is always happens whenever I use one of their products. Similarly, to most body scrubs, the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish, $6.97 uses small exfoliating particles to remove dead skin cells and open up the pores all over your body. These particles aren’t harsh but rather feel like a small little massage on your skin that truly makes me never went to get out of the shower.

How to Use:

First, wet your skin then scoop out a generous amount of body scrub into your hands and start applying it to your body. You should be massaging the scrub in a circular motion over your skin with either your hands or a brush, towel or mitt to really increase exfoliation. Once you rinse off be sure to follow up with a body wash or and then with your favorite lotion or moisturizer for a complete shower routine that will leave your feeling absolutely refreshed!

My Honest Review:

As I mentioned before, Dove products have been a part of my routine for several years now and I don’t think that will change any time soon. I never used a body scrub before, so I was excited to see how this product paired with my body wash and body lotion. I used my hands to distribute the product all over my body and instantly felt the exfoliating particles working their magic. The Dove Exfoliating Body Polish, $6.97 offered a great smell consisting of almond, vanilla and mango scents that wasn’t too overwhelming and didn’t linger. As I was applying my lotion post-shower, I truly felt that my skin was softer and even a little brighter than before, which I didn’t think was possible.

The Bottom Line:

If you want to take the time to care for your skin, then I suggest you use this exfoliating body polish. Even though it adds another step to your routine it’s definitely worth it for you to have soft and glowing skin. There’s no need to exfoliate your skin every day so this $7 jar will last you awhile but we guarantee you’ll be buying this product more than once. You can thank us later!
