Kenneth Cole’s 925 Collection launches today in London, according to Vogue UK. The 925 line has been available in the U.S. since August, but somehow I missed that Cole’s new shoes include groundbreaking cushioning technology that makes walking in 4-inch heels an easy feat. Here’s the lowdown: The 925 Shoes have a rubber sole and an impact-resistant nylon heel lift that will support lots of pounding on the pavement. There are two layers of foam, which remembers the shape of your foot, and a non-synthetic flax seed pillow that will support your arch. Sounds like an orthopedic dream. (Diagram below.)
I spotted four pairs of shoes from the collection that might retire your flats to the back of the closet.
These Party All Night ($195) shoes allow you to do just that. The tassels and metallic color give serious street cred to any dress.
Every girl needs a black platform pump, and this Ring True pair ($225) has a cool silver heel that separates them from the pack.
We told you about the Tory Burch studded booties at her fall 2010 presentation–these Stud Bolt ($175) pumps are a good way to get a jump start on the trend.
A strappy shoe that doesn’t look like something a stripper would wear can be hard to find. These What A Hottie ($175) sandals are sexy and office appropriate.
