Because being green and being an as*hole aren’t mutually exclusive, right?
The movement dates back to Anya Hindmarch’s $5 “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” totes, which sold out immediately then popped up on eBay for almost $300. Then LA company Thursday Friday gave a big “Eff You” to brands like Chanel and Hermes by printing totes with Birkins, PS1s, and more on them. Then there was the whole “My Other Bag Is A Birkin,” movement, followed by an entire “My Other Bag” line.
