You know that bald guy you sometimes see on the red carpet who always wears sunglasses on his head? Yeah, him. That’s Robert Verdi.
You might not know his name, but the celebs sure do: Verdi is buds with Sandra Bullock, Eva Longoria, and a whole roster of famous folks. And when Verdi decided to launch his first-ever collection (of sunglasses, natch), he thought of those famous friends as inspiration. Enter: Robert Verdi for Home Shopping Network.
When naming the glasses, I envisioned the women in my life who best represent the characteristics of each particular frame, be it tomboy, beach bunny, powerful executive, working mom, fashion editor … or all of the above! Those are the women they are named for.
A collection of 12 styles in a variety of colors (and all under $40!), the collection is available now on HSN.com. For more details about the sunglasses, Verdi, and his creative process, tune in to the designer’s live appearances on the network February 22 at 10 pm and on the 23rd at 7 am and 5 pm (all times EST).
