The actress recently sat down for an interview with The New Yorker to discuss her latest film project, and in the middle of her conversation, not only revealed what plastic surgery procedure she has on the books, but also what cosmetic treatments she’s utilized in the past. It was a refreshing moment, as not all female celebrities are so open about not only what they’ve had done to their faces and bodies, but what they desire to have done for one reason or another. Jennifer Lawrence Reveals The Plastic Surgery Procedure She Has Scheduled
The Hunger Games icon has been out and about more recently since taking a few months out of the spotlight after having her second child. Her new film, Die My Love, is based on the experience of motherhood, as she plays a mom struggling with post-partum depression and shows increasingly erratic behavior after moving out to the country.
The movie and its subject matter have prompted Jennifer to open up about her life since becoming a mom, and in her new interview, she began talking about her relationship to her body after having her second child earlier this year.
"Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first [kid]," she told the publication. "Second one, nothing bounced back."
Then, she boldly mentioned that she had the desire to get her chest done, and once she found out that for an upcoming movie, she had to film a nude scene, she decided to go ahead with the procedure and had it scheduled for this month.
She was also asked if she would've gone through with scheduling the surgery if she didn't have that movie to film and if she weren't an actress, to which she responded, "Maybe I wouldn't be hustling to the appointment in the same way, but I think yes."
Jennifer Admits To Having Received Botox In The Past
Once the mom-of-two got to talking about her future procedure, she decided to talk about the past as well, and revealed that she's gotten Botox done here and there to improve her appearance. However, she did note that she doesn't utilize the cosmetic treatment too frequently, as she needs to emote and move her face while she's acting.
Additionally, Jennifer cleared up any rumors or speculation that she's been getting fillers anywhere, telling her interviewer that she wouldn't get them because of the way they can show up or look obvious on camera.
At one point, she was asked whether or not she would get a facelift, and her honest response might be surprising.
"Believe me, I'm gonna!" she exclaimed.
Although she might've been joking, the comments and statements the actress made were quite refreshing, and some fans believe that they could potentially change the way other stars approach questions and conversations about the work they have had done.
