As reported by popular food-themed Instagram account @snackgator and McDonald’s customers across the country this week, the chain’s Strawberries And Crème mini pies are back at many US locations!
The account notes that these are “only available for a limited-time,” and Mickey D’s enthusiasts on Twitter are celebrating the return of the beloved treats that first debuted in 2012, according to Brand Eating.

Is McDonald’s Bringing Back Their Strawberries And Crème Pies?
In their most recent, March 20th Instagram post, @snackgator wrote for their 112K followers, “McDonald’s is bringing back their Strawberries & Creme pies for a limited time! It’s a sweet and creamy Strawberry & Creme pie made with strawberries and vanilla flavored creme, baked in a sugar-coated crust.”
One fan commented, “Interesting, this has never left the mcdonalds near me,” as another agreed, “They never left in GA near me.” Others, however, expressed that they missed the treats, and that the McDonald’s restaurants near them did not previously have the pies: “Finallyyyyy, the next best pie they have after the original recipe apple pie.” Someone else added, “Glad to see they’re back!”

According to the official McDonald’s website, these pies are “made with strawberries and vanilla flavored crème, baked side by side in a sugar-coated crust.” As one fan wrote on Twitter regarding their apparent return to some cities, “I’m sorry but McDonald’s strawberry and crème pie > the apple pie.” Others seemed to agree, comparing the two pies and deeming the former to be “better” than the latter.
