Frapuccinos remain the worst drinks you can order at Starbucks, even including all those outrageous secret menu items!

The blended coffee drinks are loaded with fat, sugar and calories, making them the unhealthiest drinks available at the Seattle-based coffee chain by a long shot.

How bad are they? Take a Grande Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino. It contains 450 calories, 17 grams of fat, and 68 grams of sugar.

By comparison, the average glazed donut contains 269 calories, 15 grams of fat and 15 grams of sugar.

Yes, that means your morning coffee order could be worse than eating a donut. Yikes!

Starbucks has developed five Frappuccino drinks with fewer than 150 calories: Mocha Light Frappuccino (110 calories); Espresso Frappuccino (150); Caramel Light Frappuccino (100); Java Chip Light Frappuccino (150); and the Chai Crème Frappuccino (140).

But health experts maintain that you should consider ordering regular coffee or tea instead, and adding one of their new non-dairy milks to it (such as Oatly oatmilk).

There are other dietitian-approved hacks for making your Starbucks order healthier, such as asking for fewer pumps of syrup, adding ice to any drink and swapping your latte with a cappuccino (which is made with less milk). Genius!
