Maybe I’ve watched too many Lifetime movies on cheating husbands and I’m a bit skeptical, but I can assure you that my instinct about men being “sketchy” has never lead me astray. 1. He Gets Calls At All Hours Of The Night
“It’s a work call.” Nice try. “Okay, it was my sister.” Nope, not buying it. If your beau is receiving suspicious calls in the middle of the night, don’t fall for his lame excuses. Truth is he’s probably telling the same thing to other girls he’s dangling along.
2. He Doesn’t Connect With You On Social Media.
Friend Request Pending. Really? He sleeps at your house four times a week, and he’s placed you on the back burner? Oh hell no! That’s straight up shady, if you ask me. As juvenile as social media may be, it does provide a level of intimacy. If you’re beau tip toes around this type of public interaction, then I would do the opposite, RUN!
3. He Never Introduces You To His Friends.
Eek shady! If your beau has met all your friends, attended work happy hours, yet still shows up to the party solo… you may have a problem. If he’s reluctant to introduce you to his friends, what else do you think he’s hiding?
4. His Favorite Word Is Maybe
“Maybe I’ll be free for dinner on Friday.” “Maybe l’ll be your date for the wedding.” If you hear “maybe” more than you hear yes, your beau is showing signs of shadiness. Let’s put it this way, if you see him getting anxious when it comes to committing to anything beyond a 48 hour window, then he may have “other” obligations on the horizon. 5. He’s MIA ….Often
Does your guy appear and then reappear out of the blue? And when he does come back into the picture he makes lame excuses like, “I’ve been so busy with work,” or “I had some family stuff going on.” This may be the case…at times, but the truth is if a man is genuinely interested he will make the time..even if it’s just with a simple text.
