My latest ammo in the wrinkle-kicking campaign is the Olay Pro-X Anti-Aging Starter Protocol ($49.99, down from $68) – a trifecta that claims to address a range of skincare issues, from dryness, fine lines, crow’s feet to dark circles. The 3-part kit is a great deal – it comes with an Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30, Wrinkle Smoothing Cream, and Eye Restoration Complex. The eye cream is silky and easy to apply without pulling the delicate under-eye skin, but it does not dissolve completely – so apply less in the a.m. The Age Repair Lotion contains SPF – which is the key in preventative skincare. The nightly Wrinkle Smoothing Cream isn’t quite as rich as the expensive anti-aging creams it claims to rival, but after three weeks the quality of my skin has generally improved. It feels softer, more refined, and at a cost savings in the hundreds of dollars, I’m seeing fewer frown lines, too.
