The Difference Between Dragging Through Your Day And Feeling Great On Your Feet? These Arch Support Insoles

I’ve been styling my hair for over a decade.

Sometimes I leave it au natural, but curls like mine are prone to frizz. Frizz + curls + length = an unmanageable mane—so I’ll often throw it into a French braid and forget about it. If I’m wearing my hair down, it’s straightener or bust.

Anyone who uses styling tools knows that heat damage is real. Blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons can all strip away the hair’s natural moisture, leading to breakage and/or dryness. So if you’re quick to reach for the blow dryer post-shower, know that you need to do your due diligence to protect your hair. I swear by hair oils for this, because the best ones will help boost shine, reduce frizz, add moisture, and even prevent heat damage.

Keep scrolling for a few of my favorites (all of which you can find on Target and Amazon)!

Luseta Tea Tree Oil for Hair ($19.95)

Tea tree oil is known to strengthen hair follicles and promote hair growth, which is great if you tend to shed in the shower (me). Argan oil is nutrient-rich and packed with moisturizing properties, making for visibly nourished hair. Together, this magic combo will revitalize your dry scalp and damaged hair.

SheaMoisture Scalp & Anti-Hair Fall ($9.99)

Once you go SheaMoisture, you never go back. This powerful elixir is formulated with Biotin and Multi-Peptides for noticeably healthier strands. It’s so great that SheaMoisture promises it will transform your hair with 4x less breakage, compared to non-treated hair. Hooray!

Being Frenshe Shea Butter with Jojoba and Radiance Oil for Dry Skin & Hair ($16.99)

Being Frenshe’s shea butter + jojoba oil is lightweight enough that it won’t weigh down your hair; plus, it gives you just the right amount of shine. It drastically reduces the amount of frizz in my own hair, leaving it feeling silky-smooth for days afterwards. This is just what you need to soften and nourish your dry strands! Bonus: Use any excess oil to hydrate your skin.

Handcraft Blends Castor Oil with Rosemary Oil ($9.99)

With over 32K positive consumer reviews, you know I’m not the only person obsessed with this product. Castor oil contains fatty acids that boost hair density, and rosemary oil stimulates hair growth. The end result is softer, healthier, and fuller hair.

artnaturals Peppermint Essential Oil ($8.97)

The menthol in peppermint oil increases blood flow to the scalp, promoting faster, thicker hair growth. Peppermint oil also has antibacterial properties that will combat dandruff or itchy scalp issues. Personally, I love its cool and refreshing aroma!

If you’re using this essential oil anywhere on your skin, remember to dilute it with a carrier oil to avoid irritation.

Odele Hair Oil ($6.99)

Infused with a nourishing blend of camellia, baobab, and argan oils, Odele Hair Oil gives you the perfect natural finish with lots of shine. It works great for smoothing frizz and sealing split ends—I especially love it for taming flyaways. At under $7, it’s a steal!

MAJESTIC Pure Geranium Essential Oil ($9.99)

Like other essential oils (peppermint, rosemary, etc), geranium oil can stimulate hair growth, but it’s unique in that it helps balance oil production. Whether you’re prone to oily or dry hair, geranium oil will regulate your scalp in addition to improving overall texture.
