The bride has so much to do when planning the wedding, there’s no doubt her bridesmaids want to make sure she has a great time at the bachelorette. You can add to her fun by incorporating one of these seven surprises into the festivities.

Book a day of beauty.

If you’re going out at night, surprise the bride with a blowout and professional makeup so she looks like a supermodel for the big night.

Score tickets to see her favorite band.

Instead of the typical night out at a bar or club, surprise the bride with tickets to see her favorite band or artist; or if she’s a Broadway buff and you’re in NYC, get tickets to see a show.

Have a surprise guest.

Whether it’s her college roommate, childhood friend or cousin, arrange for the bride’s long-distance friend or relative to fly in unexpectedly for the party.

Go on a road trip.

While the bride might expect to stay local, surprise her with a road trip to a nearby location where you can spend the whole weekend together.

Get the groom involved.

Plan to meet up with the groom and his guys at some point in the night, but don’t tell the bride about it. Or if you’d rather keep it girls only, have him record a video message that you can show her at the bachelorette party.

Book a suite.

Even if you are staying local for the night, book a suite or nice hotel room so all of the bridesmaids can hang out for the entire night.

Give her a gift.

It doesn’t have to be anything too pricey—it can even be something you all made together, like a scrapbook celebrating her relationships with each of you—but presenting the bride with a small gift is a great surprise.
