This means that no matter which brand you shop from, you accrue points that can be exchanged for shopping credit at any of the four – both online and in-stores.

Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta are all owned by Gap Inc., which just traded in its previous BRIGHT Rewards system for the new-and-improved edition. The updated loyalty programs are respectively called Gap Good Rewards, Banana Republic Rewards, Navyist Rewards and Athleta Rewards - and being a member of any program makes you a member of all four programs.
Each $1 you spend from any of the four retailers earns you 2 points, and once you get $5 back towards a future purchase for every 500 points. You can easily access your points at checkout to take $5 off a purchase whenever you’re ready.
“We are very excited about the launch of the new branded expressions of our loyalty program from Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta,” said Anka Twum-Baah, Gap Inc.’s Head of Loyalty & Partnerships. “We are launching ahead of the holiday shopping season as this will be the beginning of a series of program enhancements designed to bring value to our customers.”
If you were already a member of the previous BRIGHT Rewards program, Gap has automatically enrolled you into the new system. So all you need to do is start shopping to start earning more points.
And if you weren’t a member before, you’re going to want to sign up ASAP, because Gap is offering a pretty sweet deal to all new enrollees now through the end of October: a sign-up bonus of 250 points. This puts you halfway to earning your first reward! You can sign up in-store or through any of the brands’ websites.
