Jada Pinkett Smith‘s outfit sparked debate online when she stepped out for a family dinner with Will Smith, their son Jaden Smith, and other relatives on June 2nd – marking the first time she and Will have been photographed together in public in around six months.
The Red Table Talk host was papped leaving Nobu in Malibu, California with family members including sons Jaden and Trey Smith, and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum’s mother, Caroline, among others. Although Jada and the Oscar-winning actor are still reportedly living separately, they seemingly continue to make time for family outings together! Jada Pinkett Smith Wears A Divisive All-Black Ensemble For Dinner At Nobu
For the dinner, the Worthy authorwore an all-black ensemble featuring a floor-length skirt and a cape with orange fabric on the inside to add a splash of color.
She accessorized with a black headscarf, a black bag, large gold hoop earrings, and several necklaces and bracelets. However, social media didn’t seem keen on her look, with many taking issue with the all-black ensemble and the cape, which some thought looked witch-like.

“What ridiculous outfit does she have on?” asked one unimpressed Instagram user. “What the [expletive] is she wearing?” questioned a second. “What a mess,” slammed a third, followed by several crying-laughing emojis. “She dressed for a funeral,” thought a fourth.
Others took aim at the cape, with a fifth writing: “Her jacket looks like a cape you wear at the salon.” “She looks like a witch,” noted a sixth. “She looks like a witch from the Wizard of Oz,” concurred a seventh, followed by four crying-laughing emojis.
An eighth thought she looked like “Cruella De Vil,” which a ninth agreed with, quipping: “Jada looking like she bout to steal some Dalmatians.”
Not everyone felt the same way, though. “Jada looks good,” one fan wrote, followed by a fire emoji. “I love what Jada is wearing,” agreed a second, also followed by a fire emoji, as a third said: “Jada’s so sexy.”
