As a child, I grew up watching A Christmas Story every December 25th after all the presents were unwrapped and every last bit of brunch was consumed. And though I was probably far too young to be watching it at the time (thanks, Mom: and you wouldn’t even let me see Clueless in theaters?!), it will always strike a chord with me every time I see it on TV. That’s why this A Christmas Story Halloween Costume is one of the best couples costumes we can think of—it’s a nostalgic reference that everyone will get, and it’s not yet overdone to the point of being trite.
