Say Goodbye To Dark Circles, Puffiness, And Fine Lines With This Refreshing Under-Eye Brightener!

Our friends and former fashion editors, Jen Kramer (our shoes market editor) and Heather White met at W magazine in the fashion closet in 2006 and bonded over their love of statement jewelry. After four years of hard work in the industry, they’ve started their own line of jewelry, Carol Marie. It just hit Shopbop, and we’re dying to share it with you.

As a special treat, we’ve gone behind the scenes with the girls behind Carol Marie (Jen’s middle name is Carol, and Heather’s is Marie), to find out the stories behind each piece of jewelry in their collection. Get yourself a piece before everyone else catches wind of it:

We formed our entire collection around this Knot Pendant necklace ($215). It’s based on an ancient Greek “reef knot” which suggests harmony, equality & strength. We reinterpreted the knot into an updated look as an enameled pendant on a long chain.

We named this the Raspberry triple chain necklace($155) after our stylist (who’s also one of our best friends) became obsessed with the little beads & called them “raspberries.” She wears it religiously. A favorite is the Ethiopian double cross necklace ($258). So chic worn on it’s own – even more hardcore when layered with others.

We love chains so we figured it would be cool to make Chain knot earrings ($65) that are little bit nautical, a little bit rocker and totally amazing. The Pyramid earrings ($65) are for every girl–they’re comfortable and easy to throw on with any outfit.

The Good luck pendant necklace ($215) is influenced by the Tuareg nomads in northern Africa.  The pendants are the perfect size for us to wear as pinky rings so we’ve been wearing them both on the chain and off.  The best way to wear bracelets is to pile them on so the Multichain bracelet ($195 makes it super easy because it’s already like having 6 bracelets in one!

Find out more about Carol Marie, and then check out our guides to the best accessories around the web: espadrilles, nude shoes, evening handbags, statement necklaces and bracelets.
