Cutouts come in many different forms these days! As well as the new stomach cutout trend worn by the likes of Emmy-winning Ozark actress Julia Garner and Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney, we are now seeing hip cutouts grace the runways too, which means it’ll only be a matter of time ’til we see them on the red carpets in the not-so-distant future!
Bella Hadid showcased perhaps the most daring hip cutout trend when she walked the Stella McCartney Spring 2023 runway wearing super-low-rise straight leg pants (emphasis on the low – just think of the lowest pair of pants in existence, and then go a little lower!) complete with crystal encrusted cutouts on each hip. They were not for the faint hearted, put it that way!

The rest of the 26-year-old model's runway look consisted of a black waistcoat worn on its own and a black faux leather clutch bag, which was an overall very interesting take on modern workwear. Her other Stella McCartney Spring 2023 runway look, by comparison, couldn’t have been more different; and *definitely* not something we would even contemplate wearing to the office, as it consisted of a long-sleeved nude colored crystal embellished catsuit that was totally see through. Yikes!

The black cutout pants were a big hit on social media, with many fans praising them – and Bella's Stella McCartney runway looks in general – in the comments section of her October 5th post. "Those pants are amazing," one fan raved, followed by the starry-eyed emoji and the black heart emoji. "I want those pants!!!!!" exclaimed another, followed by three heart eyes and two fire emojis.
"Those cut out pants are fab!" added another. "Gorgeous and love the outfit," another fan praised, followed by the fire emoji. "You look amazing but please low rise jeans can never come back for us mortals," another fan wrote, which we wholeheartedly agree with!
