Earlier this month, Beyoncé captured widespread attention and set a new milestone by winning the prestigious Grammys for Album of the Year and Best Country Album with her 2024 release, Cowboy Carter. On the morning of February 2nd, coinciding with the 2025 Grammy Awards, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer, 43, took to Instagram to announce the Cowboy Carter Tour, showcasing a large neon sign displaying “Cowboy Carter Tour.”
The following day, the “16 Carriages” artist disclosed the tour dates and venues where she will perform. General ticket sales for the tour opened last week on Valentine’s Day, beginning at noon local time. In the days since, fans have been expressing their frustration with both Queen Bey and Ticketmaster over the “insane” ticket prices.

Beyoncé And Ticketmaster Called Out For 'Insane' Cowboy Carter Tour Ticket Costs On Social Media: 'So Money Hungry'
On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote last week: "A nosebleed seat can cost $479 for the "Cowboy Carter Tour." Why is Beyonce so money hungry?" Another added: "Beyoncé just took advantage of me those ticket prices for the Cowboy Carter Tour are UNGODLY." Someone else replied: "Beyoncé charging £500 for standing tickets and then £350 to be seated right at the back of a stadium? Crazy, dynamic pricing shouldn’t be allowed."
One other commented: "SHES F—G EVIL FOR THESE TICKET PRICES!" as an additional fan noted: "Like that’s my girl but 400 for one ticket is insane and that’s not even including fees." Others slammed Ticketmaster and reseller sites in particular, with one tweeting: "Ticketmaster needs to ban resellers from selling tickets for more than they paid for it. Those resellers for the cowboy carter tour is about to be NASTY WORK! They probably gonna make Beyonce tickets $5k."

Another chimed in: "Beyoncé DC tickets are still going up in price for the Cowboy Carter Tour. Seatgeek, count your days b—h. They are misrepresenting seat availability! and forcing customers into higher priced seats. Blocking seats in the 200s, 300s, and 400 sections is egregious."
Beyoncé has remained silent on fan remarks like these. Her forthcoming tenth concert tour, promoting her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter, will be her fifth all-stadium tour. It is set to kick off on April 28th in Inglewood, California, and wrap up on July 13th in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2023, the "Cuff It" singer launched her ninth concert tour, the Renaissance World Tour, to promote her seventh studio album, Renaissance (2022). This acclaimed tour set a new record for the highest earnings ever achieved by a Black artist.

Ticketmaster managed ticket sales for the Cowboy Carter Tour, but their website crashed due to overwhelming demand. For the US dates, fans had three chances to get presale tickets before the general public sale: the Beyhive presale from February 11-12th, the Artist presale on February 13th, and a presale for Citi Card Members and Verizon customers.
Mastercard holders had a special presale on February 12th for the London and Paris shows. Seven extra dates were added because of the high demand, including additional shows in London, Inglewood, East Rutherford, Paris, Atlanta, and Chicago.

With these new dates, the mother of three (who shares daughter Blue Ivy, 13, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7, with her husband Jay-Z) set records for the most shows at SoFi Stadium and MetLife Stadium.
As observed by numerous fans on social media recently, many people took time off work and shared information to track ticket prices before the general sale.
The three Paris concerts at Stade de France sold out in minutes, with a total of 240,000 tickets purchased. In the UK, it was estimated by News Shopper that 6.2 million fans would miss out on tickets.
